Blue Castle Management is intentionally structured as a leasing and landlord education company. We focus on helping landlords place high quality tenants and then successfully self manage using modern property management software.

To avoid confusion, wasted time, or mismatched expectations, here is a clear explanation of what we do not offer.


We Do Not Provide Full Service Property Management

Blue Castle does not handle ongoing property management after a tenant is placed.

  • We do not collect rent on your behalf
  • We do not handle ongoing tenant communication
  • We do not manage maintenance requests or vendors
  • We do not handle accounting or monthly owner statements

Instead, we help you set up the right property management software so you can automate rent collection, maintenance requests, late fees, and communication yourself.

If you are looking for a traditional hands off property manager, we may not be the right fit.


We Do Not Manage Properties Long Term

Our involvement typically ends after a tenant is successfully placed and your systems are set up.

We believe many landlords can self manage effectively when they have:

  • The right tenant screening standards
  • Clear lease language
  • Strong automation through software
  • Education on fair housing and best practices

Our role is to help you start correctly, not to stay involved forever.


We Do Not Handle Emergency Maintenance or Repairs

Blue Castle does not respond to tenant maintenance calls or emergencies.

Instead, we help landlords configure software tools that allow tenants to submit maintenance requests directly, route issues properly, and document communication.

Landlords remain responsible for responding to and resolving maintenance issues once the tenant is placed.


We Do Not Provide Legal Advice

While we provide extensive educational resources, we do not offer legal advice.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Eviction strategy or legal representation
  • Legal interpretation of landlord tenant law
  • Customized legal documents or lease drafting

We strongly encourage landlords to consult qualified real estate attorneys for legal matters.


We Do Not Accept Every Property or Situation

Blue Castle reserves the right to decline leasing engagements that do not align with fair housing standards, ethical screening practices, or operational clarity.

Our screening and leasing process is designed to be consistent, defensible, and compliant.
