If Anyone Is in Immediate Danger

Leave the unsafe area and call 911 for fire, smoke, suspected gas, carbon monoxide alarms, a medical emergency, an active break-in or another immediate threat. Do not wait for a portal response.

Choose the Right First Contact

No heat during dangerous cold or another loss of an essential service Protect occupants and report promptly Use Blue Castle’s emergency contact path and follow property instructions

When the Immediate Danger Is Controlled

  1. Notify Blue Castle using the emergency contact information in your lease, resident instructions or DoorLoop contact area.
  2. Provide your name, property address, unit, callback number and exact location of the problem.
  3. Explain what happened, whether anyone is unsafe, which emergency or utility service was called and whether the condition is continuing.
  4. Follow responder or utility instructions. Do not re-enter an unsafe building or attempt electrical, gas, plumbing or structural repairs.
  5. When safe, add photos and a written record in DoorLoop.

Urgent Does Not Always Mean 911

A broken appliance, slow drain, minor drip, cosmetic damage, pest sighting or routine comfort issue is generally handled through a normal maintenance request unless there is an immediate safety threat or rapidly increasing property damage. Give Blue Castle complete details rather than marking every request as an emergency.

Save the Correct Contact Information Now

Emergency procedures can differ by property. Save the emergency contact listed in your lease and the contact information displayed in your DoorLoop portal. This page intentionally does not publish a universal after-hours number that may not apply to every Blue Castle property.

Your Lease Still Controls

This guide explains Blue Castle’s usual online process. Your signed lease, property rules, notices, and property-specific instructions control if they differ from this page. Portal features can also vary by property or lease.
